Group drums support for Obielum’s guber ambition

A group, Delta Progressive Movement, DPM, in Oshimili South Local Government Area of Delta State, has resolved to support Chief Godwill Obielum to contest governorship position of the state, saying that he would be a blessing to the state.

At a meeting in Umuagu quarters, Asaba, leaders of the group said that it was a “thing of joy that politics in the state has got to a stage where the people are speaking with one voice concerning who should govern them at the expiration of Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan’s administration in 2015.”

Chief Obidi Amagwulu, chairman of the group said “for once, we are speaking with one voice in Delta State that we want Chief Obielum to be our next governor. We know Chief Obielum to be a hardworking man, experienced and he does not hold grudges rather, he is a progressive man, who believes in a united and progressive state.”
