Striker Emmanuel Emenike has said that the Super Eagles are duty-bound to do what they have to do to qualify for next year’s FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
The Fernahbache forward scored two goals against Malawi and Burkina Faso in Nigeria’s last matches and speaking ahead of next month’s final two-legged playoffs match, the 2013 African Nations Cup top scorer winner, said that all eyes were on the Eagles to qualify for the Mundial
“As African champions and it is expected that we will qualify for the World Cup in Brazil. I am certain that we can achieve this goal. All we just have to do is to go out there and fight the way we fought at the Nations Cup in South Africa.
“If we play the way we played in South Africa, I am sure that we will get to Brazil. But one thing that you be sure of is that we will do whatever we have to do to book out ticket to the tournament”, Emenike said after the game against Burkna Faso in Kaduna. Eagles won 4-1.
