MAKURDI—The Nigerian Navy has sanctioned and withdrawn two of its officers (names withheld) from the Able Regulatory and Qualifying Course 02/13 of the Naval Provost and Regulating School in Makurdi, over indiscipline.

The Flag Officer Commanding, FOC, Naval Training Command, Rear Admiral Azubuike Ajuonu, disclosed this, yesterday, at the ceremony marking the graduation and presentation of awards to officers of the Naval Provost Officers Basic Course 02/13 and Able Regulatorty Qualifying Course 04/13 in Makurdi

Rear Admiral Ajuonu said “the Nigeria Navy is a citadel of discipline which all officers must key into, and anything to the contrary would be sanctioned appropriately.

”That is why all ratings and officers of the Nigeria Navy must continue to uphold the tenets of discipline and also exemplify themselves in their chosen carrier.”

Earlier, the Commandant of the Naval Provost and Regulating School in Makurdi, Commodore Gora Aldehu, said a total of 14 officers were nominated for the Naval Provost Basic Course; however, only 13 reported.

He said “ 36 out of the 37 Ratings nominated for the Able Regulator Qualifying Course reported for the course.”

According to him, the graduands exemplified themselves in the course of study at the school.
