For 20-year-old Anne George who had spent her last eighteen years at the Living Saint Orphange, appearing on the Glo X Factor stage is a ray of hope for all orphans in the world that there is no limit to what they can achieve.
Her rendition of “Russian Roulette” did not impress Onyeka Onwenu who challenged her to prove she has what it takes to feature in the next round; while the other two judges; MI and Reggie Rockstone, gave him a nod.
This was part of the drama, and talents that unfolded at the Lagos audition of the show aired on television stations across Ghana and Nigeria as Episode Five over the weekend.
On her part, 28-year-old Ekiti State indigene, Niniola Apata, who unfortunately witnessed the cold-blooded assassination of her father in 1995, received a rare standing ovation from all the X-Factor Judges.
The trio of Onyeka, MI and Reggie confessed that they had never witnessed anything like the superlative performance of Niniola since the show started five weeks ago and they were effusive in their praises.
