General Manager, After-Sales, Elizade Motors, Mr. Emmanuel Oluwasayo Oluwaniyi has said that the company’s Annual Drivers’ Workshop for their fleet customers is helping to produce better drivers.
Mr. Oluwaniyi who spoke to journalists during their just concluded drivers’workshop at their Ogba Lagos office, said that about 200 drivers participated in the two days workshop with the theme “Exceeding Expectations”.
According to the General Manager, the training programme has been able to achieve drivers’ education as most of them were exposed to latest technique in modern day traffic rules and regulations.
He explained that the purpose of the programme was to help the customers enjoy their Toyota vehicles and enlighten them on how to get the best out of their Toyota vehicles.
Another reason is to ensure that the customers spend less on maintenance of their Toyota vehicles because an informed driver would not toy with the state of his vehicle.
“We want the owners to enjoy their cars. We want the customers to know that Elizade Toyota cares. And most importantly, to educate them on the latest technology available in the new Toyota vehicles.
In addition to the training programme, Mr. Oluwaniyi pointed out that Toyota has a lot of after-sales products and value added service for its customers.
These include: quick service, satellite workshop, early bird service,over night service, weekend service, diagnostic service, warranty repairs, emergency recovery services, courtesy car at affordable rate, and after market installations.
Other after sales products offered by the Toyota number one dealer include, preventive maintenance services, major repairs, body and paint repairs, accident repairs, dashboard repairs and dashboard polishing, upholstery replacement/ rejuvenation.
The general manager further explained that though they offer this wide range of services, they don’t charge extra on these services.
“We use our services to make our customers happy. Our products are more attractive knowing that the longevity of an automobile depends on the after-sales backup.
Speakers at the workshop were drawn from Lagos State Ministry of Transportation Vehicle Inspection Service, Lagos State Transport Management Agency (LASTMA).
