BIRNIN KEBBI — Four people were, yesterday, killed in a motor accident along Bagudo-Koko road in Kebbi State.

The accident which occurred in the evening, claimed the life of the Secretary of the Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Alhaji Garba Salihu Jega, his wife Hajiya Aishatu and his daughter, Hasfat Garba.

Vanguard investigations revealed that the accident occurred when an oncoming truck reportedly lost control and crushed the secretary’s car. The driver of the car who was rushed to the hospital later died.

A statement  by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Mu’azu Dakingari, said Alhaji Garba was on official assignment to Abuja when the accident occurred

In his condolence message, Governor Dakingari prayed God to grant Garba who left behind his aged mother, 17 children and three wives  eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost.
