Flying Eagles coach, John Obuh will name his final 21-man squad for the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup on June 7.
This was confirmed by the team’s media officer, Sam Audu who reported that the arrival of Denmark-based winger Edafe Egbedi on Wednesday morning completed the 30-man provisional squad now in a training camp in Elfershausen, Germany.
Egbedi joined the squad yesterday, same day that Enugu Rangers striker Alhaji Gero, Olympiacos attacking midfielder Michael Olaitan and Daddy Moses flew into Germany from Nigeria.
Moses has reportedly signed a contract with Ajax Amsterdam from an academy in Nigeria.
The 30-man squad are expected to feature at this year’s Toulon International Football Tournament, where they are drawn against defending champions Mexico, Portugal, Brazil and Belgium.
They will fly out to Turkey from Germany on June 17.
The Nigeria U20 team are drawn in Group B along with Portugal, South Korea
