Ado-Ekiti— Ekiti State Government has finalised arrangements for the immortalisation of late Deputy Governor, Mrs Funmilayo Olayinka.

Governor Kayode Fayemi had, during the burial of his late Deputy, pledged to immortalise the late Olayinka.

In a statement by Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Yinka Olujimi, in Ado-Ekiti, yesterday, Fayemi named the civic centre, currently under construction, after her.

The centre, being built near the Government House complex and billed for completion by the end of the year, would be known as Funmilayo Olayinka Civic Centre.

The governor also announced the naming of the newly-constructed Atikankan-Baptist Church Road in Ado-Ekiti as Funmilayo Olayinka Drive.
