Warri Wolves Football Club will on Sunday 5th May, 2013 clash with Atete FC, Ovwian via Warri in the ECO BANK sponsored Delta FA Cup.
The match is billed for Warri City Stadium and will commence at 3pm while Warri Wolves Feeder team will slug it out with highly rated Inviscible Leopard of Warri in the third place match at 1pm.
Speaking on the match, Coach Ogbeide whose team is gradually finding their bearing in the League advised his boys not to underrate the Atete boys who are made up of former players of Warri Wolves and the defunct Delta United.
Ogbeide said he is looking forward to lifting the Cup and would not want anything that will stop this dream.
‘it is my dream to lift the FA Cup and my candid advise to you is not underrate these boys. They have played for this club before and will want to prove a point. We have started finding our bearing and what we need to do now is to consolidate our position in the state.” said Ogbeide.
Also speaking, Captain Azubuike Egwuekwe promised to lead the team to victory and urged the boys to play out their hearts.
“I know the match will be tough because they know us and we know them very well but we are equal to the task. We just have to play well and finish the work within ninety minutes and I know we can do it”.
