The General Manager of Tasty Time Nigeria Limited, Mayowa Kole has said his company is ready to partner organizers of the Abesan Cup starting with the 2013 edition.

Kole who gave this assurance at the Draws and press briefing which took place at Saint Bernadette Schools in Ipaja area of Lagos, said Tasty Time is proud to be the official water of the competition which is expected to kick from May 12.

Kole disclosed that the company will provide 4000 cartons of drinks, Jerseys for the eight quarter finalists as well as an undisclosed amount of money, adding that the gesture is part of Tasty Time’s Corporate social responsibility to Nigerian youths.

“We look forward to having more Taiye Taiwos, Nwankwo Kanus, Segun Odegbamis discovered at the Abesan Cup. This competition has to serve as a breeding ground for some great players and we need to support the organizers because they are determined to produce more stars for the country”, he said.

Earlier in his welcome address, Cup donor and Patron of the competition, Mrs. Clementina Doregos who was represented by Olawale Yakub, commended the organizers and appealed to the participating teams to observe the fair play rules, stressing that she will continue to support programmes that will benefit Nigerians youths through sports.
