The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has solicited  for the support of Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi in the preparation of the Flying Eagles for the forthcoming FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey.

In a letter to this effect, the Secretary-General of NFF,  Musa Ahmadu, while appreciating the Governor’s support to the team during their preparations for the recently held African Youth Championship in Algeria, said that the football ruling body now needed his support for the global competition.

” We are grateful to his Excellency and the good people of Anambra State for their contribution in the preparation of the Flying Eagles at the last AYC but as Oliver Twist, we are asking his Ecellency to assist us.”
