The immediate past Chairman of the Kwara State chapter of Nigerian Medical Dental Association, NDA, Dr Adewunmi Ariyo,42, has been reportedly killed by unknown assassins.

Ariyo a father of three, was killed in his residence in the Basin area of Ilorin, the state capital on Thursday  night.

Five suspected suspected assassins were said to have stormed his  house   and killed him.

The deceased was known to be a vocal and renowned member of the association. Ariyo’s murder came exactly four days after the burial of the former state Police Commissioner, Chinwike Asadu, who was equally killed by unknown assassins near his house in Enugu State last month.

Saturday Vanguard gathered that the five assassins who killed Ariyo, laid ambush on him at the entrance of his residence.
