LAGOS — Lagos State House of Assembly, yesterday, confirmed the appointment of Deile Helen as new Auditor-General of the State.
The confirmation which was done on the floor of the House, was sequel to a letter by Governor Babatunde Fashola to the House last week.

During the confirmation, Deile said she would work closely with the House Committee on Public Account (State) to improve on the audit system of the State, stating that she would ensure transparency and accountability in the day to day running of her office.

The new Auditor-General  is a member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and also Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
