LAGOS— Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State, Tuesday, appealed to the striking Federal Judicial workers under the aegis of Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN, sheath sword and return to work.
This appeal came barely 24 hours after the judicial workers embarked on an indefinite strike over non-implementation of consolidated judicial salary structure, CONJUSS, by the Federal Government.
Fashola who spoke at the commissioning of the Lagos State Judicial Service Commission office complex in honour of late Justice Joseph Adefarasin, at the old secretariat, Ikeja, said they could only achieve their demands through negotiation and not industrial action.
