Something good is happening (III)

By Johnson Omomadia
In the natural something is always happening. People are changing and situations are changing. And if you look at man, he is always planning good things for himself, his family and business empire if he has one.

Now if a man is always doing something to better his future, then how much more, our excellent God, whose thoughts towards us is of peace and not evil and to bring us to an expected glorious end (Jer. 29:11). Child of God, I want you to know that God is definitely mindful of you. Remember what the Psalmist said in Ps 8:3-4 “When I consider thy

heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; what is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visited him?”

So you see. God is concerned about you, your family, business, health, education and all that pertain to you. The one you are mindful of is the one that you will surely do something good about. This means, if God is mindful of you He is doing something good on your case right now. Know that God loves you dearly and wants to see you live a life of consistent triumph in every area of your life.

At times when things are happening to us and it appears as if all doors are closed and you wonder why are these things happening to you. Most times you may want to think that God has forgotten about you and is doing nothing about it. Well I have good news for you. Even if God attempts to forsake you, He cannot because that is not His nature. God may turn His face away from you because of sin but He cannot forget about you. That is why He counsels that we confess our sins honestly and then He will return back to us.

Young lady listen to me, you may have been jilted several times and the devil may be saying to you that you are a failure and that you can never get married. Don’t listen to the devil. He wants you to get your focus off Christ. Remember, Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. The answer you so desire is in Him. You cannot get it anywhere else.

In the bible God showed a young boy by name Joseph that he would be a prime minister. This young boy in his excitement informed his family and the devil started his work immediately. He tried to kill him but failed. Now this young boy with his dream was thrown into a pit to die. Later he was sold into slavery.

Surely at this point, people would have said that God may have changed His mind about His plan for Joseph. While in Egypt he was again sold to someone else who do not even know his background. Anyway, while serving his new master Potiphar faithfully, his master’s wife wanted to sleep with him and because he refused, he was lied against and so he ended up in jail. But this time, it was the jail where the king’s prisoners were kept. While there he interpreted the dream of the king’s butler and it came to pass as he did interpret. But then the butler forgot about him but Cod did not. Got then made Pharoah to dream a dream which no one else could interpret and then the butler remembered Joseph, who again gave the correct interpretation of the dream to Pharoah and by this Joseph was promoted to the position of Prime Minister in a strange land. For more details please read Gen. 37-41. While Joseph was going from one trial to the other, naturally, you may think that God was not there, but He was there all the time doing something good behind the scene. Are you passing through some problems in life? If the problem is not as a result of sin, then know that something good is happening and will surely manifest in the physical soonest in Jesus name.

Do you want to experience fulfillment of promises of God in your life? The starting point is you receiving Jesus Christ in your life as Lord and Saviour, if you have not already done so. Pray this simple prayer. Father, you said that whosoever shall call on the name of Jesus, shall be saved. I call on the name Jesus. Thank you for saving me and giving me the gift of eternal life. I praise you and give you all the glory.
