Okrika group slams Dokubo over comments on Jonathan

BY Ben Agande

Abuja—Okrika National Youth Movement, Sunday, accused leader of the Niger Delta Volunteer Force, Asari Dokubo, of pursuing a personal agenda, saying his attack on President Goodluck Jonathan recently was to arm twist the President into giving him a multi-million naira contract in the transportation sector.

The group, yesterday, in a statement, implored all Nigerians to ignore Asari and regard his vituperations as products of a helpless lobbyist acting the script of personal interests and those of his friends who have personalised every opportunity arising from their supposed struggle for the people of the Niger Delta.

Asari Dokubo had, in series of interviews last week, lampooned President Jonathan for failing to meet the expectations of Nigerians, pointing out that this abysmal performance would deprive him of the Presidency in 2015.
