Asaba— SOME commissioners in the Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan-led administration in Delta State, are jittery over an impending cabinet reshuffle.

The shake–up had raised anxiety as commissioners, who did not perform well during the recent evaluation check on them, had since resigned themselves to fate.

However, a top government source confided in our reporter that the evaluation exercise was not to witch-hunt anybody but “to ensure that a round peg was put in a round hole for optimum performance.”

Fielding questions on the impending shake up during a press conference in Asaba, yesterday, the state Commissioner for Information, Mr. Chike Ogeah, justified the evaluation exercise which had started, noting that it was meant to point out areas of strengths and weaknesses of the commissioners for improved performance.
