MAGISTRATE Adesanya Ademola of the Ikorodu Magistrate Court, Lagos yesterday issued a bench warrant against two officers of the Nigerian Police Force following their failure to appear before it. Magistrate Ademola, had invited the two officers, Inspector Shola Adewuyi and Corporal Boniface Onyelosi both of X-Squad Dept, Alagbon to appear before his court with some documents required for a case.

The officers’ invitation also followed an application by the applicants to strike out the name of the 9th defendant which was granted by the court having filed a counter-affidavit dated August 24, 2012. Specifically, Inspector Sola Adewuyi is to produce before the court a copy of the case file taken over from the nineth defendant as well as serve on the applicant a copy of same.
