HAIR Media, producers of African Hair TV Show, the first television program dedicated to the hair industry in Nigeria; and African Hair & Beauty Magazine, a leading Hair industry magazine in West Africa, have announced their 2012 Hairdressers Conference and Exhibition in Nigeria.
Announcing this in Lagos this week, Hair Media representative Mr. Anthony Smith said Hair Media has the pedigree to take the Nigerian hair industry to international standards. He revealed that the conference, which expects participants from every country in West Africa including Ghana, Cote D’Ivoire, Liberia, Sierra-Leon and the Gambia, will highlight the business angle of hairdressing as well as professionalism, effectiveness and efficiency and motivation. Also on the agenda are customer service, hygiene, awards, display of the latest hair products, entertainment and refreshments.
Assuring participants that the various segments would be handled by seasoned and up to date professionals, Mr. Smith stressed the need to take Nigerian hairdressing to international standard by providing an interactive forum for hairdressers to make hairdressing a delightful and enviable occupation.
He said such a conference, which is the first of its kind, would bring hairdressers closer to the manufacturers, distributors, and Media, properly educate hairdressers on the use of hair care products, discover new opportunities, launch new hairstyles and products as foster new banking relationships. The various segments will be handled by competent, up-to-date professionals.
