Brazil are beatable – Obienu

As the Super Falconets battle Brazil in their second group game of the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup in Saitama, Japan Wednesday, former vice chairman of the Nigeria football Association, NFA, Richard Obienu has said that the team could beat Brazil if they can repeat their form against Korea in the opening game.

According to the Enugu based lawyer, “ we  can beat Brazil just as we did in the opening game against Korea Republic, so no team is unbeatable.”  Example is the just concluded Olympics

game in football between Mexico and Brazil, while Mexico were underdogs but at the end they defeated Brazil,” he said on a phone interview.

Continuing he said “In a nutshell, the girls should ensure they do their best but never underrate their opponent,” Obienu.

Nigeria last Sunday kick started its World Cup campaign on a promising note by defeated Korea Republic 2-0.
