SUPER Eagles defender, Efe Ambrose has urged his teammates to redouble their efforts in the second phase of their qualification campaign.

He said the Eagles will have no excuse to give, should they miss out in the 2013 Nation’s cup and the 2014 World cup.  Ambrose noted with regret that the sports loving Nigerians did not see the Eagles play in the last edition of the nation’s cup as a result of the 2-2 the Eagles drew at home with the Guinea national team.

“Everything in life is hard work, dedication and commitment. We know what is at stake. All of us know what to do to ensure that we qualify for the South African 2013. You know we missed out in the last nation’s cup, so this one there will be no excuse to give.

“Last time we played 2-2 here with Guinea that is why we could not go to nations’ cup, in our mind we know that we cannot mess up with this game.

“I believe that we can qualify for World cup. What God has approved nobody, no man can change it, but we just have to work hard to realize what God has planned for us. You know this is a new team and our aim is to qualify for both the nations’ cup and world cup,’ he said.
