WARRI: AS part of today’s May Day celebration,  Delta State Council of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, is partnering  with Warri office of the Petroleum Products and Marketing Company,  PPMC,  to sell kerosene at the government regulated pump price of N50 per litre.

The sale under the aegis of Labour Products and Services Fair, is holding at the Delta State trade fair complex, Osubi near Warri.

State Chairman of NLC, Mr. William Akporeha , said the gesture was aimed at providing  members of the public opportunity to buy essential petroleum products like kerosene at the government approved price.

He said: “Labour felt the urgent need to assist the masses and cushion the impact of the petroleum products subsidy removal, so we solicited this partnership with the PPMC to at least make kerosene available and at the pump price of N50 per litre.”
