ABA— Management of Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, has dismissed insinuations that the pedestrian bridge in front of the institution, which was commissioned by Governor Theodore Orji recently, was built by the polytechnic.
Rector of the Polytechnic, Elder Alwell Onukaogu, who gave the clarification at a briefing, said the bridge was built by the state government.
He said it was necessary to clear the air because of reports which gave the impression that the pedestrian bridge was built by the polytechnic.
Onukaogu said: “Abia State Polytechnic management did not construct the over head bridge. The bridge was constructed by Governor Theodore Orji’s government.
