ABEOKUTA—The Ogun State Government has said that henceforth, all environmental offenders including landlords with no toilet facilities in the state will be sanctioned.

Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Adebayo Fari, at a briefing in Abeokuta, yesterday, warned against noise pollution saying that, “strict sanctions await anybody polluting the environment in any form.”

Fari, however, said plans had been perfected by the government to set up mobile courts to try environmental offenders.

He said the government was committed to a viable environment that would promote good livelihood of the people and urged the people to reciprocate government gesture.
