Kano – The Joint Security Taskforce (JTF) has discovered a vehicle loaded with explosive devices along Zaria road in Kano metropolis.

The JTF spokesman, Lt. Ikedichi Iweha, confirmed this in an interview with newsmen in Kano on Monday.

He said that the vehicle which was parked along the road was discovered around 12.30 p.m. on Monday, adding that the area had already been cordoned off.

“We are now trying to detonate the explosives but we have to make sure that it is safe to do that,” he said.

Iweha advised residents of the area not to panic as the explosives would make loud noise in the process of detonation. (NAN)
