Yenagoa — National Youth Leader of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Mr. Ebikibina Miriki and the state Coordinator of Save Nigeria Group, SNG, Mr. Tony Ile, were among the 29 nominees approved by Governor Seriake Dickson as political appointees and Women Development Managers in the eight local government areas of the state.

The governor, in three separate statements through his Senior Special Assistant, Mr. Daniel Iworiso-Markson, confirmed the appointments of seven Senior Special Assistants, eight Senior Special Assistants on Women Development and 14 Special Advisers, including a former state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Rufus Abadi.

Among the Special Assistants are  Chief Remember Ogbe, (Millennium Development Goals); the National Youth Leader of ACN, Mr. Biriki (Inter-Party Relations); Julius Otele (Project Monitoring); Engr. Wenepre Dio (Project Monitoring); Odeinye Daniel-Kalio (Special Duties); Juliet Puluziba Zifawei (Girl Child Education ), the SNG Coordinator, and Mr Tony  Nathan Ile (Civil Society), among others.

Appointed Senior Special Assistants were eight women to oversee the issues of women development and empowerment in each of the local government areas.
