Premier League side, Warri Wolves Football Club, Tuesday secured a shirt sponsorship deal with construction giants, ULO Consultants Ltd.
Presenting the cheque, the Chairman of ULO Consultants Ltd, Uche Luke Okpuno said the development of the game of football in the western world was anchored on private sector participation. The contract is worth N50m.
Chief Okpuno praised the Delta State Sports Commission under the leadership of Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnick, for carving Warri Wolves Football Club into a brand within a very short time.
Responding, Pinnick who also doubles as the boss of the State Football Association thanked ULO Consultants Ltd for demonstrating corporate social responsibility in concrete terms.
Mr. Pinnick said the shirt sponsorship deal couldn’t have come at a better time, as preparations by Warri Wolves Football Club for her continental assignment gets underway.
A major highlight of the occasion was the formal unveiling of the new Technical Adviser of Warri Wolves, Mr. Maurice Cooreman, a Belgian, to the media.
