Uba commissions constituency projects

ONITSHA— Senator Andy Uba, weekend, commissioned two constituency projects, a borehole project estimated at N10 million at St. Dominic’s Savior Seminary, Akpu and the N15 million Art workshop at the Demonstration Secondary School, all located at Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Speaking while commissioning the water project at St Dominic’s Savior Seminary, Uba said he decided on its desirability because it had been the teething problem of the school since its inception.

He said: “I decided to embark on the project because of my love for education and my burning desire to give the youths quality education in a conducive environment because they are the leaders of tomorrow..
”I was told last last year when I came here for a lunching that water was among the major problems facing the school and I promised that I was going to do it. and today I am happy that the water is flowing for the students and authorities of the institution to enjoy,” he said.
Uba also promised to provide a transformer for the seminary at Isu- Anocha to ensure conducive academic work for students and the teachers.
At the Demonstration Secondary School, Eziagu Senator Uba advised the teachers to be committed in their duty to ensure that the school produce bright students who he said were the leaders of tomorrow.

While commissioning the Art Workshop, Uba expressed hope that the place would produce the best Arts student in the country.
Uba said he had so far, renovated 47 schools in Anambra state while three communities had benefited form his water projects in the state.
