Search engine giant, Google has announced that the stage is set for the annual Google Nigeria event for software developers, technology entrepreneurs and marketing professionals in the country beginning tomorrow.

Google says the free two day event will feature a line up of Google speakers, including a team of product developers, engineers, search specialists, and business marketers.

According to organisers, this years event will have journalists in the spot light. The statement reads “it’s a great opportunity to get to know Google ‘in person’, and for news teams to learn about the latest tools and get their questions answered.”

The workshop will also focus on using Google developer tools to expand the frontiers of web applications. Google engineers and web development leaders will on both days guide participants through full in-depth sessions dedicated to core web and mobile technologies.

Already, Google has kick started several development programmes in the country to empower budding Nigeria software developers with the latest involving a platform that hopes to get more Nigerian businesses on-line.
