Dufil donates equipment to improve science education

In continuation of its  Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) which part of it is to  improve science education in Nigeria, Dufil Prima Foods Plc, has extended the science laboratory equipment donation to one of Nigeria’s oldest schools, Ibadan Grammar School, Molete, Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

The donation of the science laboratory equipment which was held on Monday, March 5,2012  took place at Emmanuel Alayande Hall of the school was witnessed by parents, teachers, students as well as members of the Old Students Association drawn from different fields of endeavour some of whom are octogenarians .

In his welcome address on behalf of the MD/CEO, Dufil Prima Foods Plc., Mr. Deepak Singhal, the Public Relations & Events Manager, Dufil Prima Foods, Mr. Temitope Ashiwaju, explained that the company is passionate about the educational sector of the country most especially the development of science education which is pivotal to national growth and development as science and technology is the future of the world.

Ashiwaju noted that Ibadan Grammar School is  the first school in Oyo State to benefit from the company’s gesture and that the school was selected for its rich culture of academic and moral excellence and having produced men and women of integrity in the society.

He then charged both the teachers and students of the school to make the best use of the equipment for the benefit of the students and improvement of science education in the school which should be reflected in the results of the final examination.
