Warri Wolves FC have assured Nigerians, especially Delta football fans of the maximum three points as they battle Sierra Leone’s FC Kallone in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup tie holding in Freetown today.
The Maurice Cooreman-tutored side are brimming with confidence especially as they have been highly motivated and paid all their out-standing sign-on fee, bonuses and emoluments by the state governor Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan.
Media officer of the club, Timi Ebikagboro however, disclosed to Saturday Vanguard Sports that the players are in high spirit and will do their best to achieve their aim.
According to him, “The players are in high spirit, because the governor have paid the 25 percent of their sign-on-fee, which makes it 50 percent as part of their continental agreement. Also the players have been paid all their match bonuses as well as their salaries.
Continuing he said: “In line with what the governor did for the players and officials, the players however promised to go the extra mile in order to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians especially Delta fans. In all Nigerians should expect the best from the team,” he added.
