Nigeria Profes-sional League hot-shot, Mustapha Babadidi of Gombe United has vowed to not only break the twenty goal record set by Jude Aneke, the former Kaduna United player now with Warri Wolves, but also set a personal target of 30 goals in the ongoing season.

“I want to score 30 goals to set a new NPL record. I am sure I can do it, though it won’t be easy but Allah will make it easy for me and I will work hard to achieve my goal.”

Gombe United young striker whose team will be hosting Rangers international in today’s mid-week thriller said he was laying in ambush against the Flying Antelopes.

The dark complexioned striker who has already scored 10 goals in the NPL so far said, “I am very sure we will win the match by a wide margin and something tells me I will score a hat-trick against Rangers. It will be a tough match, no doubt, but we are ready.”

He dreams the league title with Gombe this season and said nothing will stand between the club and the set target. “I want to win the league and Federation Cup with Gombe United after which I will go and show the world what I can do in the UEFA Champions League.”

Babadidi said he had a lot of admiration for Real Madrid, and their coach Jose Mourinho. “I am a fan of Real Madrid. I will be on top of the world to wear the team’s shirt and play at Bernabeu.”
