There were palpable fears that AC Milan on-loan defender, Taye Taiwo may miss Wednesday’s 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda in Kigali.

Taiwo limped out during QPR’s 0-1 home loss to Fulham on Saturday

Taiwo who joined the the English Premier League side on loan in January has been seeing first team action week in week out, a situation which encouraged new Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi to invite him among the 11 foreign-based players to confront Rwanda.
