Protesters take over Jigawa


DUTSE – Both government and commercial activities were paralyzed, Monday, as thousands of protesters went round the state capital Dutse amidst tight security to kick against the recent removal of fuel subsidy by the Jonathan-led administration.

The protesters who comprised of students union, traders, commercial motorcyclists, business men and women, civil servants among others were seen trekking from the old motor park, Dutse,  through Sani Abacha way to Government House to Aminu Kano triangle.

Speaking, the NLC Chairman, Comrade Suleiman Kiyawa said the people of Jigawa state were against the deregulation exercise.
