NTF selects 27 for AJC trials

The Nigeria Tennis Federation yesterday in Abuja, completed its trials for the National junior team, from which players will be selected for the forthcoming Africa Junior Championship

According to the supervisor of the event, Saidu Musa, a total number of five players, comprising Gadafi Yakubu,  Peter Kwange, Martins Abamu, Godsgift Timi and PAUL Kwange were selected in the boys 12 & under category.

In the girls 12 and under category, Faith Sunday, Sophia Ordu, Bunmi Are, Fortune Aniso and Peace Bullus were selected to compete for slots in the AJC.

In the boys 14 & under, Emmaunie Sunday, Isaac Oweruma, Odeyemi Ayobami, Noah Yusuf and Michael Olatimbiti qualified while Zainab Oladimeji, Ene Patrick and Aanu Kolawole got the nods in the girls 14 and under category.

In the boys 16 & under, Edward Chistopher, Mohammed Mohammed, Abubakar Sadoq, Abraham Olatunji and Ahmed Alamu were deemed fit for places in the trials proper while in the girls 16 & under, Comfort Spencer, Taiwo Ogunshola, Mary Shapeme and Kehinde Ogunshola were selected.
