The executive committee of the Nigeria Football Federation will this month name a new coach for the senior women’s national team, the Super Falcons.

The NFF has decided to put a stop to the debate over the announcement of a new Head Coach for the Falcons, by saying the Executive Committee will ratify the appointment this month.

“We don’t understand the hue and cry by some persons who did very little to promote the women’s game and the women National Teams when they were in the position to do so.

As far as the technical committee is concerned, we have made recommendations to the executive committee expected to sit and deliberate on the recommendations and make a decision this month”, said Barrister Chris Green, chairman of the NFF technical sub-committee.
