Eagles fail to devour Angola

as Niger names Africa Cup of Nations squad

The Nigerian home base Super Eagles  today failed to devour the Palancas Negras of Angola  in a friendly match played at the Abuja National Stadium.

After ninety minute of play the Nigerian  team which was made up of players from the Nigeria Premier League drew 0-0 with 2012 Africa Nations Cup-bound Angola in Abuja.

Also Niger, making their Africa Cup of Nations debut, named their 23-player squad here Wednesday for the continental showpiece which runs from January 21 to February 12 in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon:

Haroune Doula’s side are drawn in Group C in Libreville with Gabon, Morocco and Tunisia.
