Barely 24hours to the commencement of collection of tolls at the Admiralty Circle Toll Plaza on the ever-busy Eti-Osa -Lekki Expressway, hundreds of residents and activists today protested against the planned toll gate.

According to reports, the peaceful protest turned violent as the Police were said to have attacked the  protesters.

Meanwhile, an unconfirmed report revealed that one person died from bullet wounds sustained during the incident.
