Edojah blames PDP failure in Urhobo on disunity

By Festus Ahon

UGHELLI- FORMER Commissioner for Special Duties, Warri Water Project, in Delta State, Mr. Solomon Edojah, has blamed the failure of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the January 6 re-run and April 2011 general election in Urhobo land on the lack of unity amongst the party members.

Edojah, who spoke while playing host to Ethiope East Youth PDP Faithful Network in his country home in Kokori, Ethiope East, stressed the need to restructure the party leadership at all levels.

He said: “When a party has different factions within itself, it shows a total lack of confidence in the party.”

He lamented that it was the same persons who crumbled the party in Urhobo land that are still parading themselves as Urhobo political gladiators.

While commending the youths for forming such a forum to salvage the party from collapse both at the local government and state levels, he said leadership was not “about age but about individuals.”
