DN Meyer assures on quality, relaunches products

As parts of effort aimed at reasserting its relevance in the paint industry in Nigeria and to ensure that customers get best of paint products, DN Meyer Plc has undertaken a re-launch, improvement and repackaging of its products.

According to the company, the re-lauch was to fill the existing space for the supply of quality paints by bringing to the market after extensive research, two new premium products- Meyer Wall Satin and Meyer Longlife.

The company said the launch has become necessary especially now that Christmas is around the corner, as it will enable Nigerians to add colours to their architectural structures this season.

Speaking during the event, the General Manager, Sales and Marketing of the company, Anthonia Akinkugbe explained that the re-launch was to reposition the products by improving on the quality and ensuring that customers get value for their money.

She said, “It is also an awareness campaign so that people who have not heard about these unique products will also have an opportunity to use them and share their experiences”, she said stressing that though, the response from the public has been overwhelming that the company would want every Nigerian to make Meyer paints their preferred choice.

“Our goal is to make Meyer paints a household name where you will not have to worry to repaint your buildings for over 15 years and where you will not have to worry when your children write on the wall because, you can always wash the wall with the painting still intact”.

Unveiling the products, Chairman of the company, Mr Remi Omotosho disclosed that a deliberate strategy of fine-tuning processes and improved customer-centric focus has been adopted by the management of the company.

He said, “We expect to start yielding dividends within a short while. The company plan is to ensure that more visibility is giving to the already existing quality products in its stable; imperial gloss, imperial emulsion, ultimate gloss, and ultimate emulsion.”

Omotosho stated that the re-launch could not have come at a better time than now, as the relevance of the products in addressing environmental friendliness in homes, hospitals and offices; and ease of application on high rise buildings in humid areas cannot be over-emphasised.

“At DN Meyer Plc, we are responsive to the environment in which we operate and this informed our decision to re-launch these products that will stand the test of time. I wish to affirm that Meyer Wall Satin and Meyer Long Life are necessary products for every home, office, hospital and I therefore, recommend these two products to all and sundry”, Omotosho stated.

Meanwhile, the two products are designed to be ecologically friendly. The Meyer Wall Satin has been specially designed to protect against fungicides and algae. It is also washable, odourless and easy to remove dirt and stains.

While Meyer Longlife is a durable premium product that can last up to fifteen years with resistance of any weathering, industrial or environmental air pollution. It is excellent for high rise buildings and essentially for exterior applications only.
