WARRI- A Delta State High Court sitting at Otor-Udu has ordered the Deputy Comptroller of Prisons at the Ogwashi-Uku prisons, to produce before it, the Managing Director of Mustard Seed Micro-Investment Limited, Pastor Glory Abrefera, detained over alleged N42.5million fraud by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The court presided over by Hon. Justice (Mrs) Azinge, also threatened to issue a warrant of arrest on the Deputy Comptroller. if he fails to produce the wonder bank chief on the next adjourned date of November 28, 2011.
This order follows failure by the prison authorities to produce the bank chief on two previous occasions as ordered by the court on September 26 and November 9 respectively in blatant disregard to court orders.
Three aggrieved customers of the investment scheme had petitioned the EFCC that led to his arrest and arraignment and detention since December last year at the Okere prisons from where he was moved to the Ogwashi-Uku prisons.
All his known business outfits and eateries in Delta state has been sealed-up by the EFCC until recently when they were re-opened for operations where payments are made into a special account.
