As the NPL Congress starts today in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, Head of the Nigerian Premier League Board on Media, Akin Akinbobola has disclosed that he plans to seek his Chairmanship mandate at the congress.
Making this known to Inside Out Premier League, the special adviser to the Ondo State Governor on sports said his patience has been exhausted by the system saddled with responsibility to address the issue.
“I will table my case at the forthcoming congress because I have actually waited for the system to address my grievances which they have failed to do. So I have a right to seek justice wherever and I believe that the populace will back me up.
“All this while I have been silent, trying to make peace but it seems like my patience is exhausted and I will like to take steps to regain my mandate. I decided to be patient so Nigerians will see and know that I have tried to follow due process,” Akinbobola said.
