Youth council hails Uduaghan on Ogba’s nomination for NDDC board

UGHELLI-Niger Delta Youth Leaders Administrative Council, NDYLAC, Monday, hailed the nomination of Chief Solomon Ogba to represent Delta State on the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.

Mr. Hope George, Delta State representative in NDYLAC, in a statement, weekend, commended Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan for finding Ogba worthy to represent the state on the board of NDDC.

He described the nomination as a sign of good omen for the state.

He said: “Chief Ogba is a round peg in a round hole judging from his track record as a Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development in Delta State. I urge him to use the position to positively affect the lives of youths in the state in particular.”

George, who is also the Chairman of the state chapter of the National Youth Council, commended Governor Uduaghan for appointing credible persons into positions of trust in the state, appealing for more consideration to be given to youths in subsequent appointments.

He insisted that Chief Ogba as Commissioner for Youths and Sports brought a lot of laurels to the state, making the state first amongst equals in terms of sports.
