OWERRI-The intra-party crisis rocking Imo State chapter of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, for months appears resolved, following the intervention of Governor Rochas Okorocha and Chief Martin Agbaso.
Vanguard investigation revealed that at a recent meeting in Owerri, called by the duo and attended by hundreds of party supporters, the state APGA Chairman, Chief Cletus Nwaka, was given due recognition.
Addressing party loyalists, Okorocha condemned what he called “the spirited attempt to factionalise the party in the state”, adding that APGA remained one united party.
Cautioning those he accused of propagating the gospel of disunity in APGA, Governor Okorocha equally described them as “agents of destabilization”.
Speaking to newsmen after the meeting, Chief Agbaso described the recent events in the party’s state secretariat as “a little disagreement,” stressing that no one was fighting in APGA.
