With pomp and glee, the 2011 Edition of the much talked about Best of Nollywood Awards took place at the prestigious Lagoon Restaurant on Ozumba Mbadiwe Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria on Friday, November 11, 2011.

The event, which kicked off with a red carpet ceremony at about 7:45pm, had several thespians and entertainment impresarios in attendance.

Leading the crop of winners at the BON Awards is popular flick, ‘2 Brides and a Baby’ as well as Susan Peters, Matse Uwase, Uche Jombo, Muyiwa Ademola, Eniola Badmus, Nse Ikpe-Etim and Efe Tommy Adabamu amidst others.

The roll call at the event include Gbenga Adeyinka 1st CFR, Julius Agwu, Kenny Keke Ogungbe, Dayo D1 Adeneye, Goldie, Femi Adeyinka, Ademola Adeyinka, Ayo Adesanya, Omoni Oboli, Muyiwa Ademola, Fathia Balogun, Bimbo Thomas, Mrs. Imole Oloketuyi, Kemi Otegbade and top staffers of Glo and Indomie Noodles.

With performances from JJC, W4, Adol, Capital F.E.M.I, the event didn’t end until wee hours of Saturday morning when winners, guests and Nollywood practitioners moved the party train to Troy Lounge, where the after party took place.
