THE chairman of Enterprise Bank Limited (EBL) has reiterated the bank’s commitment to partner with the Ebonyi State government in its efforts to transform the state.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to the state government, Onwuka said the bank is in a better position to identify with the government and people of Ebonyi State so as to help deepen the current developmental gains, citing the dualisation of the road leading into the state capital and the movement of the quarry/granite business to Umuoghara as key examples of projects that will open up the respective environs.
Responding, Governor Martins Elechi stated that the State would welcome professional assistance from the bank in the state’s efforts at modern mega market development, road construction and rice milling, which he believes are capable of making Nigeria a nation to be reckoned with globally in rice production.
Pledging continued good relationship with the bank, the governor also assured of the state government’s prepared-ness to support Enterprise Bank in its vision to become the preferred bank for value creation.
Also speaking the Managing Director, Mr. Ahmed Kuru, said the bank has been fully capitalised and adequately positioned to meet the expectations of all stakeholders.
