Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matters, Senator Joy Emodi, has praised the efforts of Dr. Stella Okoli, Chief Executive Officer of Emzor Pharmaceuticals in promoting the development of the country through her philanthropic gestures.
Mrs. Emodi, in a message of congratulations, comen-ded Mrs. Okoli’s efforts in using the Chike Okoli Foundation, a charity promoted by the Emzor boss, in impacting upon the less-privileged members of the society.
The message was conveyed ahead of the investiture of Mrs. Okoli with a honorary doctorate degree by Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. The award comes up tomorrow.
Emodi said: “For distin-guishing yourself in your chosen career, touching the lives of many through your numerous philanthropic deeds and contributing in many ways to the development of our dear country, this is indeed an honour well deserved.
“I also rejoice with the Chike Okoli Foundation on the official Commissioning of the Chike Okoli Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka.”
Dr. Okoli is the founder and CEO of Emzor Pharma-ceuticals and obtained a ba-chelors degree in pharmacy from the University of Bradford, a Masters Degree in Pharmaceutics from the University of London and is a member of several national and international professional associations.
