Enyimba FC striker, Peter Onoja said that he and his teammates are confident of overhauling their 1-0 loss to Wydad Casablanca in the first leg semi-final last weekend in Morocco.
Onoja said that the result was disappointing, but it has not crushed the spirits of the team players who are poised to do a good job in the reverse fixture in Aba.
“It is disappointing that we lost the game, but it does not worry me that much. I don’t think it will affect our morale at all.
“The result shows defeat, but the performance was not as bad. They are a good side and could have scored more, but we denied them that.
“We have to concentrate now on the second leg in Aba and we could do with scoring lots of goals there,” he said. “We are going to be more aggressive than we were here so they are going to have it tough.”
Onoja stated that it will be an all out attack against the North Africans.
“In the first leg we could not push a lot of men forward because the pressure was too much on our defence, so our attackers had to drop deep to support, but it will be different when we meet again.”
Enyimba host the return match on 16 October in Aba.
