CB Network holds trade expo for SMEs

A BUSINESS development firm, CB Network  is holding trade and investment promotions  expo for operators in the Small and Medium Enterprises sector  of the economy.

Event and Show Director, Prince Gbenga Agboola, said the  3-day expo, tagged, “Global Partnership for the Sustaining of the World Economy through the SMEs,” is aimed at promoting global investments and trade developments in small and medium scale enterprises within the African sub-region

“The 2011 African SME Expo, will increase foreign direct investments in Africa while promoting accelerated developments for the SMEs in Africa and beyond.,” he said.

According to him, the expo has brought together investors from different walks of life  to fashion out economic blueprint for African economy.  “The event is an annual capacity building conference as well as business networking, aimed at creating platform for international business partnership and fostering importation of ideas and exhibiting latest innovations,”he said.

He further noted that the comprehensive trade expo has equally bring policy makers, government representatives and political leaders together to practically engage the operators of the SMEs. Over 5, 000 business owners and decision makers from Nigeria, ECOWAS states and the European Union are attending the occasion.

The event will promote unique opportunities for investors from all over the globe in the Africa and its region for international trade investments while connecting to the providers of good and services.

The event focuses on four major goals- namely matching, presentation, seminar and networking events. It will also promote new businesses; establish trade partnership and building capacities for sustainable economic growths.
