Staco strengthens agency to boost micro-insurance

Staco Insurance plc has enhanced its business drive by strengthening the company’s relationship with insurance  agents The improved marketing network is to further boost the insurer’s  micro and grass root insurance businesses, as well as to ensure that the company’s presence is felt in all nooks and crannies Nigeria.

The company’s managing director, Mr Sakiru Oyefeso told Vanguard on phone that Staco is desirous of making its services available to people wherever they may be in the country as part of efforts to increase the brand equity.

The company strives to continuously increase the market share of Staco in the nation’s insurance industry, he explained that the company’s marketing efforts are geared towards attaining greater business growth by constantly encouraging the company’s marketing team and reviewing its strategies.

Oyefeso added that the insurance firm has also been deploying effective relationship marketing geared towards expansion and strengthening of its clientele base. He further said the company’s brand expansion strategy has been yielding positive results; pointing out that the organisation is presently is presenting operating from a network of 18 branches strategically located across the country.

Besides, the Staco boss stated that the company has reached advanced stage in opening more branches before the end of the year, apart from operating in Sierra Leone. Oyefeso also reiterated that quality service delivery has always been the watch word of the underwriting outfit, noting that the company’s internal processes have been improved to meet up with the set standards within the industry and beyond.

He maintained that Staco hold quality service delivery in high esteem because the company is conscious of the fact that all aspects of its operations including underwriting, customer service and claims settlement are of utmost importance to all its stakeholders.

As a forward looking organisation, he stated that Staco embraces information technology as driver of its operations to bring value to the quality of its service delivery to its customers. All the offices of Staco are interconnected via a Wide Area Network (WAN). In appreciation of the fact that the staff remain the greatest asset of the company, Oyefeso said Staco is poised to continuously improve the life of its employees professionally and materially.

Going forward, the Staco boss promised that the insurance firm will continue on the delivery of exceptional quality customer service and aggressive market penetration to further increase its market share and sustain its position as one of the leading insurance underwriters in the country.
